[net.micro.pc] Ampro Little Board/186

I'm looking for information on the Ampro Little Board/186. It is a
relatively inexpensive MS-DOS machine that claims to beat the performance
of the IBM PC by a factor of three.
Does anyone on the net have any experiance with this machine? I realize
that it is not an IBM clone, but how is its compatibility? Generic MS-DOS or
better? Are Ampro products reliable? As an aside, will most compilers /
programming tools run on it. What I'm looking for is an inexpensive, yet
cheap (student here), MS-DOS machine.
Thanks in advance for any feedback. Reply by mail and if the replies are
numerous, I'll post a summary.
                                  Thanks, Bruce
