[net.micro.pc] MS-DOS Multi-tasking info?

jrv@siemens.UUCP (02/15/86)

I would like to hear from anyone who has done multi-tasking in an
MS-DOS environment. There are a number of different products on the
market which advertise multi-tasking. Has anyone used these
with/without success?

I am particularly interested in experiences with DRI's Concurrent PC-DOS.

Thanks for any info,
Jim Vallino

I am a *very* satisfied user of DoubleDOS from SoftLogic Solutions,
Manchester, NH. Their product is excellent, the support and documentation
are outstanding as well. As far as multi-tasking goes, this is *the*
package to definitely consider. I've used it successfully with just
about everything, including communications via modem and as a host
simultaniously, to compiling and batch files, and making backups of
my disks while doing other work. If there are any questions in particular,
contact me via e-mail.

I have no affiliation with SoftLogic Inc., just am a very satisfied user
of their products, also including thier Disk Optimizer.
