I recently tried to get SIDEKICK up on a 6300 and ran into a strange problem - everytime I exit SIDEKICK the screen is left in 40 column graphics mode. I talked to the customer support folks at Borland (they seem to be very competent and helpful) and they said that the problem is with the particular video display board in my 6300, and that only some boards do it. Sure enough, my own personal 6300 works fine. They said they heard that the problem is somehow related to a glitch somewhere the "vertical timing" which doesn't help much. I'd like to know if anyone else has had the problem, and especially if there is any hack that can be done on the board to fix the problem. Bob Rindfuss AT&T - Consumer Prod.
