I just wanted to leave a note here and point out that the February issue of Byte has some interesting articles. Donold Knuth talks about work he's been doing for the last several years on typesetting, and there are some interesting results. Good coverage is given to the Operating System design of the Amiga, and where it came from. And the Best of BIX column has some remarkable material; including information on how to use the DOS Prompt command to do some things the DOS manual doesn't talk about. I also learned how to use Sidekick with Crosstalk: It's kind of fun now, to squirt precomposed paragraphs into a communications session.
