I have been playing with my UNIX PC7300 now for about 8 months and I am pleased with it's performance. Yet there is one problem that I haven't found a solution for yet and I hope someone out in net land might be able to help. There seems to be no way of either polling the mouse to find out its current position other than wreadmouse() routine. This is fine if a mouse event is generated, but it is unable to poll the mouse directly to find its current x,y location. Does anyone out there know of some other way of getting mouse data? The other mouse related problem I have is that there seems to be no way of moving the mouse under program control other than pushing it with your hand:-). Again does anyone know if anything exists to directly place the mouse cursor at the x,y location of my choice? Thank-you in advance to all you netters and any information you might have (books, word of mouth, divine intervention, stone tablets, drug induced vision) would be greatly appreciated.
