I am using a Zenith AT clone awith Xenix and am interested in attaching several more serial ports. Has anyone had experience with the Quadram 5 serial port board or the AST FourPort/XN? They both look interesting. Other than that, has anyone hdoes anyone know of thea n 8 prot ort board or the like that isn't too incredibly high pricesd? *thanks Robert Cole iuvax!access (usenet) access@iubacs (bitnet)

The Sperry IT has a four port serial board which is supported by XENIX and costs $200-300 depending on discount. I am not sure just what you want to spend. -- -bill davidsen seismo!rochester!steinmetz!--\ / \ ihnp4! unirot ------------->---> crdos1!davidsen \ / chinet! ---------------------/ (davidsen@ge-crd.ARPA) "It seemed like a good idea at the time..."

Thanks for all the response about multiple serial ports fot the AT and clones. I will post a short review when and if the "demo" boards ever arrive. In sepecific, I plan to look at the AST Four/Port, Quadram Quad/Port Digiram FouEightPort and the American Micronics 8 Port. I'll poast st prices and addresses with thereview.
