[net.micro.pc] 4.2BSD for pc & compatibles

I will soon be buying a PC compatible and want to find out which is the
"most like 4.2BSD" system available for them.  The features I am most
interested in are
	1. ^Z to stop a foreground task
	2. the ability to have background tasks
	3. a "vi" editor
Having used 4.2, I would not want to use a system without the  ^Z feature
and background tasks.  What's the use of multitasking without these?
