For sale: Bernoulli Box.
This is a mass storage device for folks with a PC or AT or clone. It
effectively gives you unlimited hard disk storage (10 megabytes at a time).
It is the original full-size unit which holds two 10 Meg cartridges at a time.
If you need bunches of hard disk space, this is for you. I got a lot of good
use out of this when I was writing custom software for several different
companies. One cartridge (my c: drive) had my compilers, editors, DOS, etc.
The other drive (d:) held a cartridge for the customer I was working on at the
moment. This gave me 10 Meg to hold their programs and data. So, you could
have a cartridge for AutoCAD, one for all of you word processors and documents,
etc. The price is equivalent to a 60 megabyte hard disk, but cartridges cost
about $50 each. It also eliminates the need for a backup tape drive, since I
can copy everything on one cartridge to another in about 2 minutes on my
AT clone (running at 6MHz).
I can let this beauty go for $2600 and will include 4 cartridges and a cleaning
kit. As I can get more cartridges at wholesale, I'll get you as many as you
want with your purchase, on a pass-through at cost basis.

backup, or a BIG hard disk, you should seriously consider this instead. BTW,
I can drop a cartridge onto a concrete floor from a height of 4 feet without
any damage occurring. I can give the box a 3-4G shock in any direction WHILE
IT IS READING OR WRITING and it will not fail reading or writing properly.
Try this with your hard disk! Speed is equivalent to an IBM-AT original
equipment hard disk when used on an AT. It is approximately twice as fast as
an original equipment IBM-XT hard disk when used on a PC/XT.
