Three years ago a friend of mine purchased a Word Processing package based on EMACS called "Perfect Writer". It was sold by an outfit in Berkely called Perfect Software and had a speller, and a formatting package. I would like to find this company and purchase a copy but it has either moved OR has gone under. If this company no longer exists, then what I am after is a word processing package that is based on EMACS. Is there another one out there? If not, I suppose I could use a micro EMACS and import the files into a word processing package. I would rather get a comprehensive package. Please send your suggestions by e-mail. Thanks, Michael E. Perfect Writer is now bwing marketed by Thorn EMI and there newest version has switched to a menu driven command structure. Its not bat at all, but it is no longer EMACS like in typying commands. You might be able to use MicroEMACS along with it. (I am maintaining version 3.5 and if there is enough interest I could implement the hooks to perfect softwares other components.......)
