[net.micro.pc] Good AT Clones

I am in the market for a decent quality AT clone. Most importantly, the
price must be in the $2000 (base price) range. I have run accros a machine
sold by Gemini Electronics from Longwood Florida. It is packed with features
(12 slots, 230W power supply, 1Mb RAM, etc.) and is priced at $2000. Has
anybody had good/bad experiances with this firm? Heard anything about the
machine? I would appreciate any information about quality, etc. Thanks in
advance (as they say!).

I have just gotten a AWells American A*Star AT clone that I can recommend
very much. It comes with a 6 or 8 mh (switch and software settable) 286,
1/2 meg memory (SILP) room for another 1/2 meg on the motherboard,
hard and soft disk controller on the board 230 w power supply; 1.2 meg
floppy; rather good keyboard for $1495 quanity one.

I have been very impressed with the company to date!!! BTW the system runs
and passes the IBM Adv Diags and runs everything we have thrown at it.
