I would appreciate any info regarding DOS call 46 from anyone who has used it. Is this the basis of the normal stdin and stdout redirections in MS-DOS? Peter Norton (Programmer's Guide to the PC pp 313-314) says "If the second handle refers to an open file, the file is closed before any action occurs..." He then goes on to describe a manner for redirecting printer (as an example) output to a file, presumably a closed one, if that makes any sense to anyone. My own experiments with DOS call 46 have been less than successful. I would appreciate also a listing for key-fake.asm if anyone has one as that might shed some light on the matter. Thanks in advance. Ted Holden, IMS
