[net.micro.pc] Keyboard interrupts & ports

vch@rruxd.UUCP (Kerro Panille) (06/17/86)

Got a question for you guru's that know about this stuff:

We have several programs that read the keyboard directly, and in trying to
set up some sort of test driver for these programs, we've found very little
documemtation on how to fool the IN instruction to think that our code is the
port. I know something along those lines is possible, but I'm not sure how.

If anyone knows how to do such things, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks in
advance!
