[net.micro.pc] PC Source Standard-286 PC?

toddo@uhmanoa.UUCP (Todd Ogasawara) (07/05/86)

The 17JUN86 issue of PC Week has an ad by PC Source for an 8MHz 80286 AT clone
for $1395. If anyone out there has bought one please tell me your experiences
with the beastie. I want to buy a 80286 micro in the next 6 to 8 months.

Here is the info given in the ad about the Standard-286 PC:
	8MHz 80286
	MS-DOS 3.1
	640K RAM on motherboard
	1.2M floppy controller
Dual floppy & hard disk controller
	Clock/calendar w/battery backup

Among other things, here is what I want to know:
	1. Does it have a floppy disk drive or do I have to buy it separately?
	2. Does it have a serial and parallel port?
	3. How many expansion slots does it have?
	4. Will it work with an EGA board?
	5. Does it have an 80287 socket?

Thanks for any info you can give me...todd
