[net.micro.pc] Help with EGA programming?

    I am learning to program for the EGA board.  Can anyone recommend
a reference book?  Also a simple code example which writes graphics directly
to the screen would be very helpful.  (Preferably this would be in
assembly, and no BIOS calls, they are too slow!)

	Well the new volume of PC mag has many articles covering usage
	of the EGA board. It also includes the first part of a 2 part
	utility that helps you to explore the EGA possibilities. I don't
	have an EGA on my system but I still found the articles
	informative and facinating. Oh, and as you requested the 
	utilities are written in assembler. I hope this helps you.
