Does anyone know whether DESQVIEW will do multitasking with Intel's AboveBoard
as this board's expanded memory is used mainly to contain user data. Does it
work with DESQVIEW when DESQVIEW tries to place user programs in the expanded
memory or does it try sqeezing everying into the 640K.
From what I read AST Rampage uses EEMS and they could place user programs in
the expanded memory and fully support DESQVIEW.
I am really confused as I am thinking of buying a memory board. My application
is mainly multitasking but I do not know which board to get as the EMS has the
backing of three giants while EEMS is not well backed.
Furthermore Intel is throwing in the Math Coprocessor as a bonus thus a great
bargain. Please E-Mail me if you have any solutions or advice. Thanks in Advance.
