[net.micro.pc] volunteers needed to test new "mv" program

pwu@uwmacc.UUCP (Peter Wu) (07/19/86)

-----
Hello, I just wrote a "mv" program for PC to move/rename files
or subdirectories. Yes, it also moves subdirectories like the mv
program on unix.

I have tested it on AT, XT, PC under PC DOS 3.xx with floppy disks,
fixed disks, and vdisk. Before I submit the program to info-ibmpc
library, I like to have a few brave people to test my program
to make sure it is really working.

You need to have DOS 3.00, 3.10 or 3.20. Clones ok.
The source is written in ibm C ver 1.0 (similar if not identical to
microsoft C ver 3.0) and assembly.

Let me know your system configuration (what dos, what kind of
drives) and whether you want source, executable, or both.
Unless otherwise specified, I will send you thru mail in
uuencoded-ARC format (i.e. arc-ed on PC then uuencoded on unix).
