When I do a DIR on my hard drive several file names show up as graphic characters. I would like to get rid of them, and also know how they were caused in the first place. I tried using chkdsk but it reports everything OK. Andrew -- Andrew Ditchfield Georgia Tech. Box 34724 Atlanta Ga 30332
