PC6300 PLUS Users/abusers:

I just got an "Enhanced Memory Expansion Board" and ran into some
confusion installing it in my PLUS running UNIX. Here are a couple
of tips for installing this board.

First, if you haven't already, install 256k chips on the motherboard
to bring it up to 1meg. Plug in the chips and change SW2
       positions 1 thru 4 from on-on-on-off to off-off-on-off.

Second, install the xtra 256k chips on the memory expansion board
to bring it up to 2 meg.

Third, set the dip switches on the MEMORY board as follows:

	   +--------------------------------+
	on | x x x x x x |
   SW1 | |
       off | x x |
	   +--------------------------------+
	      1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

	   +--------------------------------+
	on | x x x |
   SW2 | |
       off | x x x x x |
	   +--------------------------------+
	      1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Fourth, make sure the JP1 jumper on the memory card is set for the PLUS.
The top two pins should be closed, the bottom two should be open.

Lastly, note that UNIX will recognize the memory automatically.

Feel free to call if you have any questions.
