[net.micro.pc] Compiling uEMACS3.7 / LATTICE 2.12

bsw@whuts.UUCP (WALDEN) (08/07/86)

I'm trying to compile the microEMACS version 3.7 using
LATTICE C version 2.12. I defined the compliler as
LATTICE, a comment said "either LATTICE compiler."
The either, I quess, means either of the next LATTICE
compilers you can define: version 2.15 or 3.0.

Everything compiles fine and links fine. But when I run
the executable the machine just hangs up, you have to re-boot.

Has anyone tried compiling under ver. 2.12 or is the comment of
2.15 in the source a typo? If it's not a typo, should there be
anything I should know to try and fix in the source?

No indeed, the two versions I have tested it under are 2.15 and
3.0. Why it doesn't work under 2.12 I really have no guess. Since I can
not get at a Lattice 2.12 to debug it, my best suggestion is to get
you lattice upgraded, or grab the executables which will appear in
net.micro.pc shortly.
