I am working on a real time data acquisition project. I would like to fill a buffer (Buffer A) and when full, send it off to disk while the next buffer (Buffer B) fills, etc. All work is being done on an IBM-AT. I would appreciate any tips on how to approach this, software available, etc. Any pointers to sources explaining DMA transfers would be greatly appreciated as well. You can respond via the net or e-mail me directly. If I receive any useful nuggets of wisdom I will summarize to the net. Many thanks. Read about INT 15H in the PC/AT Technical Reference Manual, or better yet, look at how its used in the "Wait for Interrupt" routine for INT 13H. Jim Conrad "Conrad's a real time programmer? He doesn't wear a watch."
