I am looking for some help in setting up a LAN at work. Basically all I want to do is share the same files from our accounting package among several users. (probably with just 3 users, and a maximum at some later date of 5). I have been reading up somewhat on some of the software LANS (easyLAN, LANlink, etc...) but I really do not want the PC's to be slowed down too much. I just read a review (from last years PCW Feb. 1985) of Northstars 'Dimension' and it seems to be the type of thing we need (i know it isnt the same as setting up a LAN, but it really looks good). And what about hanging terminals off of an AT? How slow does the system get when you have three people using it? We are running our accounting system now on a compatible (we are using RealWorld....does anybody know how that works in the multi-user world??)
