Can someone refer me to a *current* list of *working* PC Bulletin Board Systems where I can find public-domain or shareware software. I picked up a list of the net last winter and have had almost no success in contacting working systems (as opposed to "disconnected" announcements, no answers, and sleepy-voiced "Hello?"s ). I am trying to locate software we can use on PC's in a Chicago High School that we have "adopted." Educational software (grading, attendance tracking, lesson plan organization, Computer aided instruction, ...) productivity software (word processing, spreadsheets, database, ...) and games (of course) that we can copy and distribute without restriction are what we're looking for.
