I hope that this does not offend anyone for being in the wrong newsgroup, but net.amiga no longer exists, so this seemed to be the next best choice. I have a student who using an Amiga with GIZMO which supposedly emulates a VT-100. Some screen oriented processes work properly such as "Talk" and games, but the "vi" editor does not. Does anyone have either a separate termcap entry or some idea why this is not working for this student. Thanks in advance, j.r. {allegra, seismo}!rochester!ritcv!jrc

Please direct Amiga-related posts to net.micro.amiga, which certainly exists. If you want VT-100 emulation, please use the emulator posted to mod.amiga.sources. It works very well, does Kermit file transfer, Xmodem, and works with vi, etc. perfectly. -Mitsu
