re: kermit 2.29 Since I upgraded from Kermit 2.28 to 2.29, my machines are now limited to 4800 baud transfers. It used to work reliably at 19,200 baud between my IBM-PC/XT and NEC-APC. I've tried the various delay options without success. Has anybody else run into this and figured out how to correct it? ihnp4!uiucuxc!clio!berger

yes, I just had the same problem today except I was using Procomm ver. 2.3 (someone please send 2.4?) I tried downloading a file over the local network at 9600 baud and at times it went like gangbusters and other times it was a dead standstill. None of these problems cropped their ugly heads up at 4800 baud. It turned out that downloading the same file went faster at 4800 than 9600!! What's happening? - Marty Moose -
