!! Hey folks, gotta question: I have a PCjr at home with the jr's internal modem. I haven't gotten the documentation for it and I don't know if any is forthcoming. The question is this: in kermit, what characters do I type to get it to dial a (pulse) number? Our phone line at home is pulse, not tone. I can get the thing to do a tone dial by doing the following: Control-N D <Space> 2625620 (2625620 is the number I want to call) Anyone know how I can get it to pulse-dial? John E. Jacobsen

Here is a guess.. I have a cermetek modem that uses the control-N stuff that looks identical to your PCjr stuff. Try CONTROL-N <space>P2625620 The p means wait for dial tone then pulse dial. good luck (tell me how it works out)
