[net.micro.pc] Problems with THE STRUCTURED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE?

dlbaer@helm.UUCP (Dennis L. Baer) (10/29/86)

I understand that some people are having problems in obtaining
THE STRUCTURED PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE. If you have less than 5 parts
you will have to wait until all 5 parts show up or get them from a
neighboring site. I cannot post it again unless it is shown that
the articles were corrupted all over the net. The 5 articles left Long Island
New York in good condition. I tested the articles here at helm. I was
able to edit the headers, combine the articles with cat, and then uudecode
the file. Some people are having problems with arc. Well you cannot use
the UNIX arc to extract the files. You must take spllib.arc and download
it to your msdos or pcdos machine first and THEN use arc there to extract
the files. From one persons reply it sounded like he was able to uudecode
the files after editing out headers and combining the files which leads
me to believe that in most cases the articles are NOT corrupted. YOU
MUST use arc on your msdos or pcdos machine and not on unix!
