[line eater fodder] Well, I think I have something of interest to PROCOMM users. I have (and a friend also) noticed lockups using PROCOMM (several versions). We did not notice any apparent cause until recently. Here's the scoop: I am running a XT clone at 8 mhz with: 2 com ports, Hayes modem on COM2, line to VAX on COM1 20 MB hard disk color graphics other normal stuff..... When talking to the VAX (COM1), and the phone rings (RI line on COM2 goes high due to the modem) the machine takes a hike into nah-nah land. I am NOT saying this will happen on all machines, but it sure does on mine and my friends. Hope this might solve some problems with an otherwise GREAT comm package. Please don't flame me, it is just an observation. E-MAIL responses if any. -- Owen Adair, Digital Signal Processing Lab, Ga.
