Girl Drowns In Bucket of Water
DALLAS (AP) - An 11-month-old girl drowned when she fell into a
bucket of water, police said.
Lila Jiminez, 35, told police she had placed her daughter Zella and
the child's twin sister in a dry bathtub Friday morning and told her
7-year-old son Manuel to watch them.
While Mrs. Jiminez cleaned the house, Manuel went to the kitchen to
get something to eat, said homicide investigator Jackie Johnson.
Zella apparently crawled out of the tub and fell headfirst into the
almost full bucket.
Mrs. Jiminez hear her son screaming and found the baby submerged in
the bucket, Johnson said.
