It is my understanding that quite a few of the prints that local stations get have ALREADY been butchered! There was quite a market for film frames just after ST went into syndication, and they had to come from somewhere! If it really bugs you, call the station (better, write them a letter) and complain about it! So few people ever do that just a couple of calls can really make a difference. --Berry Kercheval

I have an uncut copy of The Menagerie because it is my favorite Star Trek episode, followed closely by the Enterprise vs. Romulan Bird-Of-Prey episode.
