[net.startrek] Cameras in Space in ST:TMP

This has always perplexed me in ST:TMP

	In many scenes of the movie "external" views are
asked and received.
	My question is: where do these shots come from? Are
there cameras everywhere in space? If so, who paid for them?
Was it tax deductible?
