Here's one for the people who watch for details. I was watching
'For the earth is hollow and I have touched the sky' (the one
where McCoy gets the 'incurable' disease and eventually is cured
using information found on the Fabrini spaceship), and when they
showed a shot of the Enterprise and the spaceship/asteroid my
foggy memory seemed to remember the same asteroid in another
episode. I can't remember the title of the other episode,
but the Enterprise is supposed to stop an asteroid before it
hits a planet populated by american indian types, and Kirk
gets amnesia on the planet and lives with them for a while.
Is it the same asteroid model?
Also, in STTMP, do they or do they not mention that McCoy
has been off studying the above mentioned Fabrini medicine before
he was 'drafted' back onto the Enterprise? I'm pretty sure it
was mentioned somewhere, but I can't remember if it was in the book
or in the movie.
