RE: 'City on the Edge of Forever' was one of my favorites too, right behind 'Balance of Terror' and 'Amok Time.' There was one little flaw that bothered me, however. If McCoy caused the Enterprise not to be built by interfering with history, how come Kirk and company didn't vanish too? Any expanations? Let us not forget we are dealing with a TV show, not a literate treatise on the laws of physics. If Kirk, etc. had disappeared --- you would have no TV show left! But if you want a "real" answer, how about, people on the planet are exempt. Why? 'Cuz that's the way it works, or else you'd have no TV show!! -larry
