[net.startrek] Let's not forget TV poetic license, a reply to a reply

		I realize that T.V is not a "literate treatise on physics."
But often when writers break such laws they invent new ones to cover their
backs. This time it seems they didn't. I asked the question because I thought
someone might have a logical/interesting/clever response, not because I wanted aphysics lesson!

How about "The planet with the Guardian of Forever on it is in some 
weird state (NOT NJ!) (Sorry, couldn't resist!) where space-time is 
not normal, thus Kirk et.al. can still be around.  This abnormal state
is caused by the Guardian's presence." ?
