Mariette Hartley was on the Tonight Show several years ago and they got to talking about her appearance on Star Trek. Although she never did say what episode it was she did tell the audience that before Spock met her he was a vegitarian.

A quick correction: the title of the episode wherein Kirk, Spock and McCoy were stranded in the past of the alien planet (Sarpeidon) was "All Our Yesterdays," not "Tomorrow is Yesterday." (The latter was the episode in which the Enterprise was stranded in 20th century Earth and picked up a fighter pilot).
