Ty - The episode you wanted to know about was called
Friday's Child. The Federation wants to establish a mining
treaty with the Capellans but the Klingons want it too.
The leader (Akaar) is leaning toward the Federation but one
of his subordinates (Maab) has sided with the Klingons.
Akaar's wife is with child but doesn't want it. There is a
revolt and Maab kills Akaar to take command. Eleen (Akaar's
wife) decides to forfeit her life since she bears a son who
would be the high Teer. McCoy prevents her from it and
McCoy, Kirk and Spock are placed under arrest, and sentenced
to death which Eleen wants to see before she dies. Meanwhile
upstairs the Klingon ship is keeping the Enterprise busy by
giving out fake distress calls from Federation vessels.
The landing party overpowers the guards and take to the
hills with Eleen. They don't have phasers, so they have to
make bows and arrows. McCoy delivers the baby in a cave
after some hilarious dialog but Eleen knocks him out with a
rock and escapes. She meets the group of Capellans who are
searching for the landing party along with the Klingon.
She says she killed them and the baby and wants to go home.
The Klingon doesn't believe her and takes matters into his
own hands which upsets Maab. Kirk and Spock start shooting
arrows at the Klingon who threatens to shoot his phaser at
the next person who moves. Maab sacrifices his life so that
his lieutenant can kill the Klingon with three-point
frisbee. McCoy brings the baby down who is now officially
the high Teer just when Scotty and the cavalry come over the
hill. Ellen is the Teer's regent and calls him Leonard James
Akaar and signs the mining treaty with the Federation. Of
course Kirk and McCoy are "going to be insufferably pleased
with themselves for at least a month" as Spock puts it.

The episode "Friday's Child" described by Ozzie in response to Ty
did not give the name of the actress who played Eleen. Ty said
she looked like Ursula Andress, too bad it wasn't. It was in fact
Julie Newmar who later became the Catwoman on the Batman series.

I realize that this is net.startrek, but I wanted to correct rtf's
reply. Julie Newmar did not later become "the" Catwoman on Batman, as
the Catwoman was played by three different actresses at different
times. Another was Eartha Kitt, but I don't recall the third.

The third catwoman was Lee Meriwether.
