Spock discovers his son .... living 5,000 years in his past. Spock uses the Guardian to return to Sarpedion and return with his Son and the beautiful woman who bore him. I will leave actually what happens to your imagination or the book "Yesterday's Son". Worth reading even at the cost of $2.95. It will warm even a Vulcans heart(s). Peace and long life ... Any other comments about good Startrek series books...?

"Yesterday's Son" was indeed a good piece of Star Trek fiction. I've read about every ST book that's come out in the last few years (it's one of my few consuming vices/passions, pick one), and that particular book has been one of the most enjoyable. As for other good ST books, I'd recommend the following: -Any of the books written by Sondra Marshak and Myrna Culbreath, including the two "Phoenix" books, "The Prometheus Design," and "Triangle." -Vonda McIntyre's "The Entropy Effect." -David Gerrold's "The Galactic Whirlpool." There are, of course, several others; these are just personal favorites.
