I guess I've been out of touch with ST fandom... could ANYBODY with info,
or even rumors, about Star Trek III mail them to me? All I've heard so
far is (1) the title is "The Search for Spock", (2) Spock and Khan are both
back, and (3) Leonard Nimoy is the director. Maybe someone who's attending
NYSTCon this weekend will have some additional information. If it's not
worth posting, mail it to me anyway.
My mailing address is NOT, NOT, NOT along the path this was posted from.
Send mail directly to the address below, please! Don't use 'reply' command!

P.S. -- Just watched "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield"... anybody notice
that the stolen shuttlecraft from Starbase 4 is shown, very clearly, full
profile view, with the serial numbers NCC-1701/7 of the Galileo...? Just
another example of slipshod 3rd-season production by our hero Fred Frei-

Next month's STARLOG magazine has an article about the filming of ST3. I have no idea of the length or quality of the article. They have said that Mister Nimoy is the director. Current release date is June, 1984. Francis J. Wharton Exxon Office Systems Princeton, N.J. 08540

The latest I've heard is that they MIGHT not meet the planned summer, 1984 release date because of post-production contract difficulties. I have yet to confirm this. If true, the film would not be released before the beginning of December, 1984. Roger Noe ihnp4!ihlts!rjnoe
