Vol I.(130pp, offset, reduced. $5.75 [1st], $4.75 [4th]
contains the first three main stories and nine of
the connecting sub-stories first created by J. Lichtenberg,
who is now a pro sf writer of Sime/Gen stories.She
wrote her Kraith stories as part of a creative writing
course. Others have added stories in this universe.
She critiqued them and decided whether they were
consistent.
Vol II, 90 pp.same price. Two stories.
Vol III. 90 pp. same price.Contains the fourth story
in the main series and five substories.
Vol IV. two novella-length stories and two substories.
120 pp, same price.
Vol V. not available currently. Contains good stories
which didn't make official Kraith requirements.
Vol VI [150 pp], same price. Some endings of above
stories. There has been no new Kraith written in years.
They comprise an interesting synthesis of Vulcan culture
in detail well beyond any shown in the TV series.
Whether they are any good, or enjoyable, depends on your
requirements. As writing exercises, some concntrate on
character, some on plot, setting, etc.
They are, as Spock would say, "interesting."
