@ In the listing of episodes there is a mistake in explaining this one. Dr. Noel was the woman sent down w/Kirk to check things out. Dr. van Gelder was the good guy who was trying to tell Kirk of the problem on the colony. Dr. Adams was the bad guy using the Mind Emptier on the criminals and van Gelder.
