I beg to differ with the "Charlie X" response. The episode
"And the Children Shall Lead" dealt with some urchins taking
over the Enterprise via mental powers ( and heavenly intervention! :-).

I seem to recall that THAT was where Spock got his legs broken --
it was on the Bridge and I think Kirk and he were going to remove
one of the kids...

Anyone agree?

Some trivia/thoughts:

Ever notice a resemblance between Philana (Plato's Stepchildren) and
Anan 7's wife (who was to have become a `casualty') in A Taste of
	Armageddon?

Was there more than one episode where Kirk says, "Let's get the hell
	out of here" ?

	No, no, no, no, no!

Spock's legs got broken in Charlie X. It happened in the Gym just after
Charlie made "That bad man who was laughing at me" move to another dimension.
Kirk tried Security, but, alas, Charlie then made all the hand phasers in the
ship go away, too. Then Spock and Kirk tried rushing him ("oh, he won't hurt
me. SPOCK: But Jim, theres a chance.... KIRK: I know, I know), and that is when
Charlie put them up against the wall. He also broke Spock's legs to make sure
he (Spock) didn't do it again. (KIRK, (to Spock): This is another fine mess
you've gotten us into.....)

We beg to differ. It was in "Charlie X" that Spock's legs were broken.
It occurred in Yeoman Rand's quarters after she opened the intercom to the
bridge to summon help. As for us, we prefer not to remember anything from
"And the Children Shall Lead".

I just saw "Charlie X" and I want to set the record strait
once and for all. Spock is not in the gym scene at all. Charlie
makes the man "go away" and does likewise to the phasers but he
does nothing at all to Kirk (or Spock, naturally) in that scene.
Later, in Yeoman Rand's room, Charlie "throws" Kirk and Spock
against the wall. When he releases Kirk, Spock tells the captain
that his legs are broken. Charlie then releases Spocks legs be-
cause he doesn't want to get Kirk mad.
It's interesting to note that Spock's legs were never actually
broken. Charlie had only locked them in place so that Spock could
   not move.

	On another subject:

Does anyone at any point in A Taste of Armageddon say that
that woman is Anan 7's wife? I believe that she was not his wife
at all since I seem to recall him telling Kirk that his wife had
died in the previous "attack." Am I right or wrong?

The woman in question was, I believe, Anon 7's daughter and not
    his wife.
