I saw the full "Cage" when Roddenberry visited UCLA back in the 70's
(Space 1999 had just started then). The scenes shown affter Spock is
exonerated had somewhat different meaning, and both were shot BEFORE
Pike returned to the Enterprise:
The Keeper's final message to Captain Kirk (she referred to him by name)
was simply (copied and) dubbed over.
[The Big Surprise] The scene of Pike and Vina supposedly re-united was
originally a DOUBLE of Pike, created in the humans' minds by the Keeper.
Repeat: Pike saw a COPY of himself staying with Vina.
Pike: You will give her her beauty back.
Keeper: And more...
[The "more" turned out to be the copy of Pike!]
