Well, I called our local station that carries Star Trek (actually they aren't
running it right now, they usually show it for a while and then show something
else for a while). They said they had heard nothing either in the trade rags
nor from Paramount about them recalling the show from syndication.
I've heard from a couple of people in the LA area that say it's not on there
anymore and I suspect it's the same story as here, they can't run Star Trek
every day all week all the time and expect people to always tune in. They
run it for 6 or 8 months and then don't run it for 6 or 8 months. This way,
when it comes back, people missed it and are ready for it again. Maybe it's
just off in the LA area (and others) right now. If it's not a coincidence
(i.e. if you call a station and ask them about it or read something "official")
I'd like to hear about it, but for now, I'm not believing the rumors.
Already packing to get in line next week...

On the contrary! I just watched it 1 hour and 15 minutes ago!
The episode was "The Deadly Years" if anybody cares...
