Amid the dreck, the second-funniest thing in Star Trek* III was the "No Smoking" sign in the transporter room. The funniest was the use of "I Remember You" in the bar scene. Alas, in the audience I saw the film with, there were few folks who recognized the tune. More folks might have appreciated the humor had a medley of hits been played from: Spock's Jukebox A1 Body and Soul Various Artists A2 The Way We Were Barbra Streisand A3 September Earth, Wind, and Fire A4 September Song Various Artists A5 Theme from "Fame" Irene Cara A6 I've Got You Under My Skin Various Artists A7 Deja Vu Diana Ross(?) A8 Theme from "The Champ" ? If enough netnuts mail me songs and artists to round out a hundred-record jukebox, I plan to post the results. -- "Star Trek" is a trademark of Paramount Pictures, I believe.
