Spock's soul was put into storage in nurse Chapel's body during the Sargon episode. Thus even the TV series hinted at the Vulcan ability to store the soul in someone else's body. -- Yehoyaqim Shemtob Martillo (An Equal Opportunity Offender)

There was, to my knowledge, nothing in the "Sargon" episode to indicate that the ability of Spock's intellect to reside in Nurse Chapel was in any way a result of his being Vulcan. Recall Kirk and Ann Mulhahl were stored in "globes" at the time. As I see it, they could easily have been placed in another's body. "You must kill me!!" "Later..." Scott J. Berry
