This is of interest to all the folks (myself included) who would like to
pour a gallon of red paint on Harve Bennet's head for destroying the
Enterprise....

In the June 13 USA Today, an article ran which indicates there is a large-
scale movement afoot to get the Enterprise back (how?). They indicate the
response is greater than that of the death of Spock. Bumper stickers are
showing up saying things like "Star Trek IV: Who's next?" Althought
Paramount has denied getting any mail, Harve Bennett made this comment.
Paraphrased....."The Excelsior is sort of the Spruce Goose...its only fit
for a museum piece", and without actually saying it, he did say we can
expect to see the familiar Enterprise design making some sort of comebaci
in Star Trek 4. Which, by the way, may not take two years to come out...
(as in maybe next summer, or so...thats just a rumor, though...)
Anyway

{  Sigh...not again...  }

That's kind of sad. How would they manage to explain the return of
the Enterprise. If they say it is the Genesis Effect, I will vomit
very loudly in the theatre. Why would it be rebuilt, if they were
going to scuttle it in the first place.

Come come, people. The whole idea of bringing the ship back is
silly. Spock, like has been said, I can see. Kirk learned his
lesson about death, it was a viable story. Now he's learning
about something else. Okay, fine.

What's Jim going to learn about the Enterprise?

Besides, it's beginning to get a bit too coincidental. Leaving Jim,
a valuable officer, stuck to this one dilapidated old ship for so
long is rather silly.
