Subj: Kirk's Quotation The episode in which Kirk quotes "All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by" is "The Ultimate Computer". The poem in question, incidentally, is John Masefield's "Sea Fever", which was written around 1902. As long as we're on the subject of quotations, does anybody know the source of "Eternal childhood, full of play", which Janice Rand quotes in "Miri"? It's driving me crazy. And if Rand can quote something so esoteric, can she really be such an airhead? Of course, maybe I only think it's esoteric because I can't remember the source. --------- PDDB
