From: melanie (Melanie Nesheim) Does anyone know how the Vulcans spell Mt. Silaya? I have seen it referred to in this newsgroup as "Mt. Seyela" but thought my ears heard something more like "Silaya". I'm dying of curiousity. (I haven't read any of the novels; anyway, would they necessarily be a good source, or would the spelling just be that particular author's?) Any help is welcome. By the way--might as well mention it--I agree with those who don't want to see a Klingon-Federation war in STIV, for most of the same reasons. However, when comparing it to Star Wars, please remember that there was a lot more going on in Star Wars besides the war. (Guess I'm reacting to those who say that the K-F war would bring Star Trek "down to the level of Star Wars". As a fan of both, I don't see Star Wars (the trilogy in its entirety) as lower than Star Trek. I love them both for different yet similar reasons. Remember the theme of hope and forgiveness and love in Star Wars, as well as the war.) --Melanie Nesheim
