The story of course is about Mudd and his leaving the planet of the androids. He first guides the androids through the successful terraforming of their planet. Then he talks the androids into making him ships, of course with the Stella series as the shipboard computer built in to run the ship. He goes off into the universe on the Stella Ships (Inter-Stella Drive :-) of course with a crew of lovely android women. He then gets a corner on the dilithium crystals of the entire galaxy by giving the D.C. miners what they want - those cute android women. The story then continues on with the Enterprise tracking down and bringing Harry to Justice. The interesting twist also is where and who brings Harry to justice - the androids on their home planet. It also happens that the trial ends up not being a trial of Harry, but of the androids being sentient and being able to try Harry.
