So far as the article indicated, nothing in terms of writers, directors, producers etc. is official or final; but there are plenty of rumors around--among them either Nimoy or Shatner directing and Harve Bennett pro- ducing/writing. Does anyone know if ILM actually destroyed the model of the Enterprise for the destruct sequences in ST3? Also, has anyone else heard that ILM wanted the Enterprise destroyed because they didn't like it, it was too hard to film, and they wanted a ship of their own original design? (If that's true, and the best they can come up with is the Excelsior (gag), they need to go back to the drawing boards..) Also, this is a polite request, but could all this Dr. Who conversation be moved to the appropriate newsgroup? David Whitney ctvax!uokvax!uok!dwhitney
