[net.startrek] Anyone interested in a book survey

brahms@trwspp.UUCP (08/13/84)

[}Its time for all good line eaters go to sleep{]

Lately, there have been a lot of talk about different books, which are
good/bad, which can be taken as canon, which can not, etc. Well, I think
it is time to have a book survey to find out which ST books are the best.

First off, a list must be compiled of different books (does someone
already have such a list?) Therefore I now open the floor to
nominations. Feel free to nominate as many books as you would like. Also,
please send suggestions on a scoring system (is one really better than
another?). Also, if you would like to see scoring in different areas
(best true ST (canon) book, best ST writter, etc.), please send those
suggestions also.

If there is indeed enough interest, I hope to have a list compiled for
voting by Aug 27.

Please send all responses directly to me. Thanx.

Oh well, I guess the net is not ready for another survey. I got a huge amount
of information, but only from one person. No one else seemed to care since I
got no other replies. Sigh!!
